Rolla-wipa Marketing & Filming

Client: Rolla-wipa

Z

Completed: 2022

Rolla-wipa have been engaging our services since early 2020, in multiple areas. Here at 360nz, we provided them with marketing support and e-commerce strategies, plus regular filming and editing services for their video campaigns.

Depending on the purpose of each video campaign, the client may ask us to film it professionally for them or they may shoot it themselves on their smartphone and ask us to edit it. These two levels of service work well for this client, who like to use a balance of consumer-style and professional imagery in their marketing.

The video below is a testimonial edit, filmed and edited by 360nz…

About Rolla-wipa

Fed up with spending hours cleaning roller sleeves for over 30 years as a professional painter, and worried about watching so much paint literally go down the drain, Brett Stanley knew there was a better way to clean up.

Brett then designed and manufactured his unique 3-in-1 painter’s tool which effectively removes paint from roller sleeves, whilst acting as a handy paint tin opener and stirring stick that gets into the corners of the tin.

About Lakeview Development

The deconstruction phase of the Lakeview Development presented an opportunity for QLDC to demonstrate leadership in minimising waste during a major project. By incorporating clear waste minimisation objectives into the tender process and selecting an experienced contractor able to deliver on these objectives, the project has resulted in over 86% of material diverted from landfill through reuse and recycling initiatives – an outstanding result and a story worth telling.

“It was an absolute pleasure working with Keith and Richie from 360 New Zealand on the production of the Lakeview Deconstruction video.

These guys are highly professional, experienced, organised, creative, and their proactive approach allowed for the capture of come great footage to support our key messages.

They really took on board what we wanted to achieve and helped guide the project by making some fantastic suggestions prior to filming, on-set, and with the video editing. The final output exceeded our expectations and has been a real asset for Council to use in conversations with the industry.

I would certainly recommend the 360 New Zealand team.”

About Destination Coromandel

Destination Coromandel Trust is funded by Thames- Coromandel (TCDC) and Hauraki District Councils (HDC), supported by direct local tourism industry investment to promote The Coromandel as a visitor destination.

Destination Coromandel are one of 30 Regional Tourism Organisations (RTOs) in New Zealand. They promote their region under “The Coromandel good for your soul” brand.

“When scoping virtual experience content and development, 360 New Zealand was in the forefront of our searching. It quickly became obvious why they stood out.

The expertise and advice shared by the team at 360 New Zealand was personal and sincere from the onset. They helped us understand our needs and developed a product exactly as we had envisaged. Their knowledge and skill in virtual content creation and platform development is top notch.

While in region capturing footage, Richie and Keith were professional and considerate. Stakeholders and landowners were kept informed and their wishes respected, it was a pleasure to have them represent Destination Coromandel.

We can’t wait to work with the team again to build the next phase of our tour, and bring even more of The Coromandel to the virtual world.”

Completed: March 2020

Maria Napier came to us wanting a clean, modern website to display her art online. We played with a minimalist look that hinted at traditional gallery spaces, adding just enough creativity to the page composition to keep it modern.

The end result is a fresh, easy to navigate and eye catching site that showcases Maria’s stunning work.

About Maria Napier Art

Maria is a professional artist based in North Island NZ. Whilst her painting falls under the genre of realism, she does not strive to simply replicate a photographed image in paint but rather interprets the image in her own style utilising colour and light to enhance a scene.

“After making the decision to invest in a website for my small fine art business, finding the right design team was of utmost importance to me. It was through a chance encounter at a wedding that 360 degrees New Zealand were recommended to me. Having a visual product, it was important to me that my website would be visually well designed. As a small business, budget was also a consideration.

Georgina and Keith delivered on both counts as well as well as adding their expertise and advice around the background workings of the website which was an area I had little knowledge or experience in.

Both Georgina and Keith were great to work with, I found them professional and responsive, delivering the project within the agreed timeframes. I felt it was money well spent and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others.”

Following on from the success of our previous projects with Drowning Prevention Auckland, the DPA team chose to focus the next project towards those involved in Māori community activities in the Auckland region.

This included filming three educational videos covering the topics of Diving for Kai, Net Fishing and Waka Ama. All the videos were presented by Clayton from DPA in Te Reo Māori (Māori language).

This was followed by the creation of a new e-learning course with three modules, covering the same topics above. With some Te Reo Māori language skills in-house, we were able to deliver a draft version of the content for the courses in Te Reo Māori before using an expert to polish up the final version.
