Completed: February 2021

Queenstown Lakes District Council approached us to create a documentary-style short film to showcase their waste minimisation initiatives for the Lakeview Development project in central Queenstown.

The shoot required a specific schedule over a one month period to work in with the key presenters. The main purpose of the film was reporting to stakeholders and other councils.

About Lakeview Development

The deconstruction phase of the Lakeview Development presented an opportunity for QLDC to demonstrate leadership in minimising waste during a major project. By incorporating clear waste minimisation objectives into the tender process and selecting an experienced contractor able to deliver on these objectives, the project has resulted in over 86% of material diverted from landfill through reuse and recycling initiatives – an outstanding result and a story worth telling.

“It was an absolute pleasure working with Keith and Richie from 360 New Zealand on the production of the Lakeview Deconstruction video.

These guys are highly professional, experienced, organised, creative, and their proactive approach allowed for the capture of come great footage to support our key messages.

They really took on board what we wanted to achieve and helped guide the project by making some fantastic suggestions prior to filming, on-set, and with the video editing. The final output exceeded our expectations and has been a real asset for Council to use in conversations with the industry.

I would certainly recommend the 360 New Zealand team.”

Aomori Spring Media Shoot 2018

Client: Aomori Spring Ski Resort, Japan

Z

Completed: February 2018

As part of an on-going relationship with Aomori Spring in Japan, we spent the first two weeks of February 2018 on a contracted shoot at the resort, working with numerous professional freeskiers and snowboarders.

With the 2018 Winter Olympics being within one short flight from Aomori Airport, a number of teams chose Aomori Spring as their pre-Olympic “wellness” camp location. This included the Finnish and German Snowboard Teams, the US Freeski Halfpipe Team and a few other American athletes like Louie Vito and Chloe Kim.

With so much talent riding at the resort at the same time, Aomori Spring’s management chose to enlist our services to shoot on-spec action photography and videography with the available athletes. We also shot portraits of every visiting athlete to be printed and hung in the lobby at the Rockwood Hotel.

The majority of digitally published content was used throughout both the resort’s and athlete’s social media streams, with a big focus on Instagram. As a result, most of the produced edits were less than one minute in length, with the exception of the video below.

Completed: April 2016

Viking Roofspec approached us initially to shoot some aerial image content. After a quick turnaround job in Queenstown, they decided to contract us for a larger time lapse shoot in Wanaka.

Viking Roofspec had a new style of roofing they were installing at a Wanaka residential property, with the help of local contractors Watertight Solutions. Their goal was to time lapse the roof installation from multiple angles, with the aim of creating a piece of marketing marketing as well as a instructional-style video.

The finished product was showcased at a conference they held in Fiji, attended by Viking’s contractors from around New Zealand. Watch the video here…

About Viking RoofSpec

Viking Roofspec is a market leading provider of quality roofing and waterproofing materials. Whether it’s a home or commercial building, Viking’s roofing, decking and below-ground waterproofing systems, keep water out and ensure it stays out for good.

“At Viking Roofspec we wanted to create a time lapse video to show architects, developers and builders how easy our WarmSpan roofing system was to install. We were just about to start a project with our Applicator, Watertight Systems, so we commissioned the team at 360 to create the video for us. Keith and the team produced an outstanding video, supported with images. The video has been used extensively in our business – it is such a great tool for showing the key advantages of WarmSpan and how easy it is to install. It has lead to specifications for the product and enhanced our brand image with key architects.

Keith was outstanding to work with, taking care of all the details from creative design, to managing delays and then the ongoing support to produce a top class video. We are keen to do complete this type of work again and would have no hesitation working with 360 New Zealand again.”
