Drowning Prevention Auckland Te Reo Māori E-Learning

Client: Drowning Prevention Auckland

Z

Completed: August 2019

Following on from the success of our previous projects with Drowning Prevention Auckland, the DPA team chose to focus the next project towards those involved in Māori community activities in the Auckland region.

This included filming three educational videos covering the topics of Diving for Kai, Net Fishing and Waka Ama. All the videos were presented by Clayton from DPA in Te Reo Māori (Māori language).

This was followed by the creation of a new e-learning course with three modules, covering the same topics above. With some Te Reo Māori language skills in-house, we were able to deliver a draft version of the content for the courses in Te Reo Māori before using an expert to polish up the final version.
