Completed: September 2017

Built as a WordPress Multisite, this 3-part, multi-lingual web design contract was a very substantial undertaking. With multiple stakeholders and a number of technology providers involved, the project management and communication was by far the trickiest aspect to this project.

The client required three different websites to promote their main three service offerings; the hotel, the golf course and the ski resort. Whilst each site needed to maintain a consistent structure, layout and flow, the content differed dramatically as the target audiences varied by nationality, interests and age demographic. Our own imagery (shot previously whilst working on location with the client) became a valuable asset and was utilised in a variety of aspects.

This project required in-depth research and planning in the early phases, followed by a detailed design phase, a lengthy content creation phase (working with multiple translators) and a problematic migration for the soft launch (due to the variety of technology providers involved).

We managed the whole process, from start to finish, and ended up supply the hosting ourselves.

About Aomori Spring

Aomori Spring and The Rockwood Hotel is a ski and golf resort located in the Tohoku region of the Honshu Island in Japan. The resort is managed by a mixed team of Japanese and multinational professionals, with a number of international stakeholders.

“As experts in many relevant fields – the Japanese snow industry, digital media and website design – choosing Keith and the team at 360 New Zealand for the Aomori Spring Resort and Rockwood Hotel, Japan websites was an easy decision.

Keith took on the sizable task of building the three websites (ski, golf and hotel in both English and Japanese) with a great deal of professionalism, attention to detail and strategy. He was able to structure his approach with a view to future expansion, as well as integrating a number of non-standard third-party applications, and applying a high level of creative design.

I have never worked with a website design company that has delivered so efficiently and creatively. We will be recommending them with enthusiasm to other businesses, and we look forward to working with them again.”

Completed: June 2017

Here at 360nz we have a strong relationship with the NZSIA, as longterm members of the organisation. After being involved with a rebrand for the non-profit organisation, we were asked to perform a website redesign in a very short space of time.

As part of the redesign, we needed to migrate two additional WordPress sites/databases, combining all three into one WordPress Multisite. This was a mammoth task given that the databases had over 8000 users.

The whole project was completed in just over two weeks, complete with membership database integration (with external software), a completely new architecture and navigation, and an e-learning platform that we’ve helped to build and work on continuously.

Completed: September 2016

After working together on a number of previous projects, Fitkitchen came to us with their new startup business concept. Fitkitchen required a range of services to help them launch their new product including a website with e-commerce capabilities and a variety of imagery solutions.

After lots of discussion, we convinced Fitkitchen that a WordPress-based website was the way to go and we began designing right away. Their goal was simple: to create a slick-looking website that showcased their fitness-focused, convenient meals, and helped them to reach their target audience. The website needed to include e-commerce capabilities, which they may or may not end up using, as the product was to initially launched with in-store purchasing only.

Not only did we create the Fitkitchen website, but we provided a continuous stream of advice and strategy around the use of digital media. This culminated in a short promotional video, shot on their launch day in the Dunedin New World supermarket…

About Fitkitchen

Fitkitchen Ltd. is a Dunedin based company, which was started to solve a problem for lower South Island customers – getting the right nutrition to supplement their busy lives. In today’s world convenience is everything and their goal was to simplify the struggle people have with food to meet health-focused goals.

“We launched Fitkitchen in September 2016 and 360nz were an integral part of this process, creating our website and filming a launch video. We’re extremely happy with the website they created for us and the reception from our customers has been excellent. We couldn’t be happier! Most importantly, for a start-up business, the website came in promptly and on budget.

Following the extremely positive experience with the website build, we turned to 360 again for a promo video filmed during our launch. This began with an easy 1/2 hour meeting with Keith and the cameraman Malcolm. Things moved quickly and a week later we filmed the launch. The video was submitted the following day and completely exceeded our expectations, as usual. We racked up 2500 views on Facebook within hours of posting. This has been our most successful social media post to date and we are absolutely thrilled with the result. We are very proud of this video, just like our website, and are extremely grateful to Malcolm, Keith and 360 team.

I can’t recommend these guys enough! They’re very talented people and a pleasure to do business with. We will definitely be using them again.”

Completed: July 2016

NZ’s popular, long-running freeride event is reaching new heights and pushing new boundaries for 2016. With a branding change to The North Face Frontier, the Freeride World Tour Qualifying event needed a new website to match their new brand.

With Snow Sports New Zealand managing the event it made sense to use a local business with whom they had a strong relationship with already. With our background in snow sports, this project was right up our alley.

We decided to focus the homepage around a powerful video background (disabled for mobile), with two simple call-to-actions. All textual content was featured below the fold on purpose, with the goal of captivating the viewer through video from the get-go. The rest of the homepage was designed around a countdown timer, a carousel image prompt and social media feeds for both Facebook and Instagram.

The rest of the new Frontier website is rather simple, however a lot of time was spent migrating old content from the previous Freeski Open website and archiving it into blog posts within this new site.

About The North Face Frontier

For over a decade, the world’s top skiers used the NZ Freeski Open as a stepping stone to the Freeride World Tour. With the excellent facilities and spectacular terrain of The Remarkables as the competition venue and as one of the first events of the FWQ season, The North Face Frontier hopes to attract top level competitors from all over the globe.

“Keith and his team at 360 New Zealand recently worked with Snow Sports NZ on the development of a new website as part of a rebrand of our popular and long standing freeride event. From start to finish the entire process was managed professionally, in a timely manner and the finished result was well beyond our expectations, we were blown away! When we presented the new look website to our major sponsor their response came back: Wow! I love it, I mean I really love it!! It is on a whole new level, love the use of video in the banner, it’s also super clean. Thanks to Keith, our new website perfectly captures the vibe of our event, engages our target audience and provides the perfect platform for our marketing and communications. We would not hesitate to recommend 360nz for all web design and strategy.”

Viking Roofspec is a market leading provider of quality roofing and waterproofing materials. Whether it’s a home or commercial building, Viking’s roofing, decking and below-ground waterproofing systems, keep water out and ensure it stays out for good.

“At Viking Roofspec we wanted to create a time lapse video to show architects, developers and builders how easy our WarmSpan roofing system was to install. We were just about to start a project with our Applicator, Watertight Systems, so we commissioned the team at 360 to create the video for us. Keith and the team produced an outstanding video, supported with images. The video has been used extensively in our business – it is such a great tool for showing the key advantages of WarmSpan and how easy it is to install. It has lead to specifications for the product and enhanced our brand image with key architects.

Keith was outstanding to work with, taking care of all the details from creative design, to managing delays and then the ongoing support to produce a top class video. We are keen to do complete this type of work again and would have no hesitation working with 360 New Zealand again.”
