Completed: July 2022

Bella Mama approached us to produce a promotional video which showcased their unique offerings. We developed a storyboard and script based on our initial conversations and then shot both interior and exterior footage to be used in the final cut. We also cast talent for the video. Throughout the whole process care was taken to ensure that the end results gave viewers a feel for the experience that mamas receive when they visit the Bella Mama team.

Completed: October 2022

Matua, like many wineries and vineyards, wanted to streamline their onboarding process. During harvest every year they train a large number of new staff and contractors. Running this training in person can be costly and time consuming. So we offered an online training solution that would help them reduce costs and minimise health and safety risks.

The content gives participants a solid understand of the winemaking process in its entirety, not just the specific part of the process they themselves are involved with. The platform acts as a valuable resource, always available to staff to refer back to.

In the background the 360nz team, alongside Joaco Bonet, had been developing a subsidiary company, Wine Training. Visit the website winetraining.nz.

First Training approached us after seeing another of our e-learning platforms. They needed to be able to pre-load the first-aid training course participants with information prior to them arriving onsite for assessment. This allows greater flexibility for their course participants and made a fantastic resource and opportunity for schools to include first aid training in their offerings.

First we filmed a series of educational videos to sit within the platform, then we worked with the team to adapt their existing workplace first aid pre-course training materials to sit comfortably online, in easily digestible chunks.

We subsequently returned to re-shoot some existing video content.

Completed: September 2021

Queenstown Lakes District Council and Central Otago District Council decided to work together, contracting 360nz to shoot two kerbside recycling videos with the same goal: to educate residents on what can and can’t be recycled in the yellow bins.

As the two councils share the same MRF processing facility, it was possible for them to split some of the costs for the shoot, making the end result more cost-effective.

Each of the videos had very similar messaging but two very different approaches. Both versions were fun in their own ways, using local personalities to present to camera.

About Councils Kerbside Recycling

Both CODC and QLDC have a vision to become zero waste councils. Kerbside recycling is a BIG part of this vision. Mixed recycling (the yellow bins) has some fundamental challenges with what materials can and can’t be recycling, and how residents use this service.

Stunt Puppy approached us to work with them on a multi-day, multi-output shoot to capture their amazing doggy accessories. The project required some tricky angles, with underwater shooting being a key element.

Being dog owners and lovers of outdoor sports ourselves, this project was a very natural fit. We were even able to use our own pups within the varied talent pool of furry friends.

About Stunt Puppy

If you imagine your favourite outdoor brand teamed up with someone like Lululemon to make gear for dogs then you’d pretty much land right on top Stunt Puppy. Based in the belief that the best times we have with our dogs are when we are outside, doing stuff together every piece of gear is designed and built from the dog up, taking into account their anatomy, behaviour and physiology to create gear that’s light, comfortable, performance-oriented to keep dogs safe and happy wherever our adventures take them.

“Didn’t someone famous in film once say ’never work with children or animals’?

Thankfully for us Keith and Richie at 360nz missed that memo. Dogs, kids, boats, kayaks, SUPS, wind, water, dirt and all kinds of other chaos were thrown into this mix. With each shoot the images got more golden – literally as Raphie and Miro (their own dogs) became the stars of the show; and figuratively as Keith and Richie captured both the functional and emotional elements of our brand putting the design of the gear and the bond between man and dog front and centre in every shot.

This was our most ambitious shoot ever to get the kind of material for Float Doggy and the results speak for themselves. We are a primarily online brand and we’ve sold out of the product they shot for us twice this summer in the northern hemisphere. The gear, the skill, the perseverance, the on time delivery and the navigation of so many moving parts that 360 brought to this is remarkable and we are eternally grateful.”

Rolla-wipa have been engaging our services since early 2020, in multiple areas. Here at 360nz, we provided them with marketing support and e-commerce strategies, plus regular filming and editing services for their video campaigns.

Depending on the purpose of each video campaign, the client may ask us to film it professionally for them or they may shoot it themselves on their smartphone and ask us to edit it. These two levels of service work well for this client, who like to use a balance of consumer-style and professional imagery in their marketing.

About Rolla-wipa

Fed up with spending hours cleaning roller sleeves for over 30 years as a professional painter, and worried about watching so much paint literally go down the drain, Brett Stanley knew there was a better way to clean up.

Brett then designed and manufactured his unique 3-in-1 painter’s tool which effectively removes paint from roller sleeves, whilst acting as a handy paint tin opener and stirring stick that gets into the corners of the tin.

About Lakeview Development

The deconstruction phase of the Lakeview Development presented an opportunity for QLDC to demonstrate leadership in minimising waste during a major project. By incorporating clear waste minimisation objectives into the tender process and selecting an experienced contractor able to deliver on these objectives, the project has resulted in over 86% of material diverted from landfill through reuse and recycling initiatives – an outstanding result and a story worth telling.

“It was an absolute pleasure working with Keith and Richie from 360 New Zealand on the production of the Lakeview Deconstruction video.

These guys are highly professional, experienced, organised, creative, and their proactive approach allowed for the capture of come great footage to support our key messages.

They really took on board what we wanted to achieve and helped guide the project by making some fantastic suggestions prior to filming, on-set, and with the video editing. The final output exceeded our expectations and has been a real asset for Council to use in conversations with the industry.

I would certainly recommend the 360 New Zealand team.”
